We're still short of engineers! Read the interview with Bernard Cathelain, President of IESF, in the June issue of Le Monde des Grandes Écoles et Universités, page 52. With +3% of graduates by 2022 and less than 3% unemployment, the engineering profession is still very popular. The preferred sectors? industry. Good news in a context of reindustrialization, even if the reality is more nuanced. France needs 65,000 new graduates every year, i.e. 18,000 more than at present.
