Participation in the Code4Earth Challenge 2025
Every year, the ECMWF (European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts) organizes the Code4Earth challenge, aimed at stimulating innovation and open source developments in the Earth sciences community - supporting developments in the fields of weather, atmosphere and climate, Copernicus and Destination Earth (DestinE).
It's a unique opportunity for ENSTA students and graduates to apply their training to real-world problems in earth systems and environmental research.
To participate, candidates must submit a proposal by April 1. Teams will be announced on April 29; they will then have from May 2 to August 31 to code, before celebrating the completion of the program in September.
Alumni can also contact Clara DUCHER (ENSTA 2020,5), who is managing Challenge 11 and mentoring Challenge 10.
