Tomorrow's transport: which engineers for new ambitions? On January 18 , the 3AF (Association Aéronautique et Astronautique de France) is organizing a symposium in liaison with the French Ministry of Transport. The current context is changing radically as we look to the future of transport, whether by land, sea or air. These new forms of transport need to meet both societal expectations in terms of safety, and environmental concerns, by significantly reducing CO2 emissions. Economic requirements and the corresponding training must now be closely linked to ecological advances. For more information and to register for the symposium.

Collection des grains de la Fondation UNIT: "Mécanique des milieux continus" (Continuum Mechanics )
Unlike physics, which is concerned with the microscopic structure of matter, continuum mechanics is concerned with the macroscopic behavior of solids, fluids or more complex media. The aim of this course is to master the steps that link the basic axioms of mechanics, behavior laws and equations of state to the two evolutionary equations: the Lamé equations for elastic solids and the Navier-Stokes equations for Newtonian fluids. | Toulouse INP .
